Four cones make up a box. Two players stand at two of the cones and one at the other two.
The sequence of passes is always the same. The player with the ball pases to the next player who comes to meet the pass. He lays the ball back to the first player and then runs around the cone form where he came.
The first player then passes diagonally to the next player who lays the ball off to the second player who has now encircled the cone. Every player moves one one cone after their second pass. The drill can be done with two balls starting diagonally from each other at the same time. Those cones must be ocupied by more than one player.
- 4 cones
- The player waiting for the ball starts moving towards the ball as the ball is passed.
- The player passing the ball must orientate his running speed to the speed of the ball.
- The standing leg is often too far away from the ball and/or the player leans back.
- Timing of the pass is important.
- Players often run faster than they pass.
- Demand good strength of pass and pass precision.
